Acuson of Mountain View, CA, this month shifted some of its senior management personnel. The company announced that Robert Gallagher had retired from his duties as chief operating officer and vice chairman of the board, although he will continue part-time as senior vice president. Acuson's president, Daniel Dugan, has taken over the management of the company's operations, a duty he previously shared with Gallagher, and will continue to report to Samuel Maslak, chairman and CEO.
