Agfa’s HD Mammography system, which was introduced at November’s Radiological Society of North America meeting, is now available. It features high-definition mammography screens that deliver sharp images at low noise levels and low patient dose.

The new screens are used with HDR-C film, which provides the latitude necessary to visualize clinically significant information in dense breast tissue, as well as the high contrast required to view microcalcifications. The film uses split emulsion technology and offers optimum contrast through all density ranges.
