Mobile imaging services firm Alliance Imaging has completed its purchase of Medical Diagnostics, first announced in April (SCAN 4/15/98). With the acquisition, Alliance now operates more than 200 MRI systems in the U.S. The company also provides CT, nuclear medicine, lithotripsy, and other healthcare services, according to Anaheim, CA-based Alliance. The transaction was valued at approximately $35.6 million, including assumption of indebtedness. Alliance utilized bank financing to meet the cash portion of the transaction.
