Analogic adds to product line

Analogic has introduced Integrated ID Gateway Option, a DICOM-compliant hardware/software package for Analogic's SuperDASM (SD)100 CR gateway. Designed to free technologists from repetitive data entry, the option automatically matches images to patient data to create patient studies. Work lists are also communicated directly to the technologist, according to Peabody, MA-based Analogic.

In connectivity developments, the company has released a DICOM software option for its SuperDASM 200 and 400 systems that integrates legacy imaging modalities into DICOM networks. Only a single Analogic system is required for the software, avoiding the need for proprietary devices for each modality, according to the company. SD200 handles digital connections, while SD400 accommodates analog hookups.
