Ultrasound vendor Advanced Technology Laboratories of Bothell, WA, has begun offering multivendor service of ultrasound scanners manufactured by other companies. The company reported last week that it has received ISO 9001 certification for its multivendor service operation.

ATL has been building a multivendor service capacity in house for the past year, according to Lourens Steger, vice president of customer support. The company began marketing the program several weeks ago, and intends to service all scanners manufactured by its ultrasound competition, he said.
