an agreement to acquire stent developer Intraluminal Devices for

$1.4 million in CVD stock. Intraluminal Devices is a development-stage

company that makes self-expanding stents, which CVD said it intends

to integrate with its own Focus Catheter technology for stent

delivery. CVD spun off from Endosonics in June (SCAN 7/3/96).
