Knoxville, TN-based developer of PET technologies CPS Innovations has signed Toshiba Medical Systems to distribute its PET products in Japan. The systems will feature the company's LSO FastPET technology. Toshiba will provide customer service. Eighteen months ago medical insurers in Japan began covering PET examinations using FDG, resulting in a substantial increase in demand for PET exams, according to CPS.
