Del Global Technologies’ acquisition of Villa Sistemi Medicali has proved valuable already. In January, Del Global obtained a 19% stake in Villa Sistemi along with the nonrevocable option to increase its share to 80%. In April, Del Global decided to exercise this option. (SCAN 5/10/00).

This month, the FDA gave Del Global approval to market Villa Sistemi’s Vision tilting table for radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations. The table is available in the U.S. and will be distributed by Del Global. Del Global is a Valhalla, NY-based designer, developer, and manufacturer of medical and dental imaging systems. Villa Sistemi is based in Milan, Italy.
