GE Centricity upgrade promises workflow boost

Centricity PACS Version 3.0.6 debuted at the GE Healthcare booth of RSNA 2008 offering enhancements aimed at improving collaboration between radiologists and referring physicians. A new web-based diagnostic viewer, Web DX, allows users to quickly access clinical tools such as advanced visualization from virtually any location, tools often found only on a dedicated workstation. Enhancements in the latest Centricity version also bring comprehensive, detailed patient history into a single patient folder.
