Hologic has entered into new strategic relationships with Sedecal, a Spanish manufacturer of high-frequency x-ray generators, Stephanix, a French maker of remote radiography/fluoroscopy tables and x-ray equipment, and Radiologia, the oldest x-ray equipment manufacturer in Spain. Stephanix has obtained the exclusive right to sell Hologic’s bone densitometry, mammography, digital imaging, and general radiography products in France. Radiologia has exclusive rights to sell Hologic’s bone densitometry, digital imaging, and general radiography products in Spain and Portugal. In support of product sales in these territories, Sedecal will supply customers with its high-frequency x-ray generators for all Hologic products. As part of this alliance, Hologic also transferred to Stephanix and Radiologia certain assets of its operations in those countries.
