RealTimeImage, a provider of Internet-based imaging technology, has licensed its iPACS image streaming technology and Web-based image access for integration into HX Technologies' iHistory IT platform. iHistory provides physicians with secure Web access to patient data, including images scattered across multiple medical centers and information systems. The platform is undergoing tests at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, employing iPACS' Pixels-On-Demand to enable Web-based access to images.
