Kjaya Medical will introduce a cloud-based sharing solution at RSNA 2011 called iShareScan.com.

The solution, which the company is offering for free for imaging sites, makes images available for immediate access and manipulation in 2D, 3D, 4D or PET-CT fusion by authorized physicians and patients. It uses the same technology as their full per-study-fee-based VoXcell imaging suite.

Through iShareScan.com, imaging sites can grant image access for collaboration and communication with referring physicians, as well as allow patients to share their images with providers, the company said. Images are available on the cloud for up to 30 days without charge and can be stored for longer for a fee.
