Siemens has begun selling medical imaging systems from Kodak's Health Imaging Group as part of a new three-year global agreement. The deal expands previous regional agreements between the two companies. The OEM agreement allows Siemens to sell CR and digital laser printing systems directly to its customers. Whereas previous contracts established OEM sales agreements with Siemens in the U.S. and Europe, the new agreement is worldwide and positions both companies to explore opportunities in marketing and new product development. Siemens has implemented the plan in the U.S., Western Europe, and India. Worldwide coverage will be in place by the end of the year.
