Former Diasonics executive David Kaufman has joined x-ray film
digitizer manufacturer Lumisys. Kaufman has been named vice president
of sales and marketing for the Sunnyvale, CA, company's software
division, which Lumisys formed when it acquired QuickSilver Systems
in April (SCAN 4/24/96). Kaufman will oversee the commercialization
of QR2000, an ultrasound review workstation Lumisys acquired with
the QuickSilver purchase.
