Mainsource partners with cancer center on EMR

Mainsource Software has signed a contract with Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre (ORCC) to develop a Web-based electronic medical record management system using Mainsource’s object-oriented approach to EMRs. The project is part of an initiative by Cancer Care Ontario to develop a data-management network linking patients, providers, researchers, and educators across the province. The ORCC’s goal is to support the acquisition, classification, storage, retrieval, and viewing of multimedia clinical information throughout its facility.
