Marconi Medical Systems has promoted Eliezer Tokman to senior vice president for product strategies, where he will help define the company’s overall market opportunities, including new technologies, clinical applications, joint ventures, and other strategic alliances.

Tokman joined Marconi in 1998, when the company acquired Elscint. He had been president of Elscint America. During his career with the Israel-based company, Tokman was instrumental in developing its multislice CT product.
