MRI imaging service provider Miracor Diagnostics has completed its acquisition of 80% of Ultra Open MRI Holding, a multisite MRI business with offices in Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Palm Harbor, FL. Miracor, formerly Medical Device Technologies (SCAN 10/27/99), entered the imaging business in 1998 through the acquisition of MRI service sites in Ohio and Florida and added another site in Illinois last year. The company’s stock is traded over the counter under the symbol MRDG.
