The San Diego company, which runs 24 mobile and fixed imaging operations for hospitals, medical centers, and physician offices across 22 states, has chosen a new name: Molecular Imaging Corp. The name change reflects the company's evolution, according to company management, from a niche mobile service provider to a company that is positioned to meet the demands of the fast-growing molecular imaging industry.
