Mobile PET takes on new name

The name "Mobile PET Systems" is out. The San Diego company, which runs 24 mobile and fixed imaging operations for hospitals, medical centers, and physician offices across 22 states, has chosen a new name: Molecular Imaging Corp. The name change reflects the company's evolution, according to company management, from a niche mobile service provider to a company that is positioned to meet the demands of the fast-growing molecular imaging industry.
