The updated NeuroQuant Brain Tumor software offers "critical insights into changes in tumor volume over time" for brain metastases and meningiomas, according to Nikdokht Farid, M.D., a professor of neuroradiology at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). (Image courtesy of Cortechs.ai .)

Nikdokht Farid, M.D., a professor of neuroradiology at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), said the automated capabilities of the NeuroQuant Brain Tumor software offer significant benefit to neuroradiologists.

"NeuroQuant® Brain Tumor's longitudinal tracking capabilities offer critical insights into changes in tumor volume over time, facilitating more accurate monitoring of treatment response and more informed clinical decision-making. With the latest software release, which offers automated segmentation and tracking of brain metastases and meningiomas, this tool has tremendous potential to improve workflow efficiency and clinical confidence in detecting, measuring, and following brain metastases and meningiomas," said Dr. Farid, the vice president of the American Association for Women in Radiology (AAWR).
