North American Imaging, a Camarillo, CA-based x-ray tube and imaging system supplier, will acquire Vision Imaging Components, an Arlington, TX-based x-ray medical tube loading company. Executives at NAI, a subsidiary of McDonough Medical Products, are following a strategy of growth through internal development and external acquisition. The purchase of Vision Imaging Components, which until this deal was part of Cassling Diagnostic Imaging, was prompted by a perceived need to consolidate the market, according to Cassling executives.
