Neurostar Solutions introduced at the 2006 RSNA meeting enhancements, including an expert opinion consulting service, a portal enabling online sign up, and the means to customize configurations of its Virtual Radiology Network (VRN).

RadExpertOpinion.com is designed to provide radiologists with Internet-based subspecialist consults. A joint venture of Neurostar and Templeton Readings, REO is powered by Neurostar's VRN and Virtual Radiology Community (VRC) Web site to enable access to Templeton's network of board-certified radiology subspecialists. Templeton is a major teleradiology provider.

Neurostar will expand its VRC Web site, a platform for sharing services and data, with transcription services and 3D image processing labs. The company's VRN will further expand to include eStore, an online portal where customized virtual network solutions can be configured and subscribed, automating the otherwise manual process of linking sites with teleradiologists. Existing customers can also use eStore to add services.
