Division following the scuttled deal with monitor vendor Image Systems (SCAN

2/2/00). Computron Display Systems of Mount Prospect, IL, has acquired all assets

of Nortech’s Imaging Technologies Division in a very quiet deal. Terms of

the agreement are not being disclosed, but Computron will honor all existing product

warranties on Imaging Technologies’ monitors, according to Quent Finkelson,

chairman, president, and CEO of Nortech. That had been the sticking point in the

proposed purchase of Imaging Technologies by Image Systems. The sale allows Wayzata,

MN-based Nortech to focus exclusively on its contract manufacturing business.
