Siemens Medical Solutions has sold Novant Health of Charlotte and Winston-Salem on its RIS/PACS. As part of an agreement between the two, Siemens will integrate its SIENET PACS and Novius RIS version 26 to handle radiology and emergency medicine, as well as critical care units in eight acute care facilities, two outpatient diagnostic centers, and a breast care clinic. Siemens RIS/PACS is the first product resulting from the merger of Siemens Medical Systems and Shared Medical Systems, which the German company acquired two years ago.
