OEC rumored to be buyout candidate

Is someone eying OEC Medical Systems as an acquisition target?

That's what Business Week reported in its March 18 issue. The

magazine said that a major medical equipment vendor had made a

bid last year for the Salt Lake City, UT, maker of mobile C-arms,

and may have made another offer this year. OEC officials declined

to comment on the rumor.
