The partnership combines Medstrat's information technology with Fuji's SmartCR computed radiography. The turnkey package offers digital capture of orthopedic images in formats large enough to provide complete scoliosis views, local image storage, and disaster recovery. Rising demand for knee and hip replacements is requiring orthopedic practices to manage an increasing number of radiographic images. Storing them electronically promises improved efficiency.
