Multimodality vendor Picker International of Cleveland has formed a new oncology division to integrate the company’s various technologies into new advanced treatment planning systems. Picker already has a 70% share of the treatment planning market with its Acqsim 3-D CT treatment planning system, and Picker hopes to incorporate other modalities, such as x-ray, MRI, and ultrasound, into its treatment planning offerings.
