Prime Medical Services has agreed in principle to acquire the assets of Calumet Coach. The acquisition will be made through Prime's manufacturing subsidiary, AK Associates, and is subject to the preparation of definitive documents and the completion of customary approvals. Terms were not disclosed. Privately held Calumet designs, engineers, and constructs vehicles to transport medical, broadcast, and special-purpose products. Prime operates a fleet of 67 mobile lithotriptors and 15 (stationary) refractive surgery centers in 34 states.
