Can the newly launched MIM Anyware platform bolster imaging access and multidisciplinary collaboration?

GE HealthCare has launched MIM Anyware, an emerging remote access platform that may enhance collaboration and improve access to imaging data.

Noting the challenges of siloed workstations and potentially restrictive IT requirements, GE HealthCare said the MIM Anyware platform facilities secure, controlled access to imaging without the need for local software.

Emphasizing secure, remote cross-functional collaboration, MIM Anyware enables sharing of documents and encourages real-time multidisciplinary case discussion, attributes that contributed to improved care coordination and more efficient decision-making, according to GE HealthCare

"Remote access platforms like MIM Anyware can help healthcare systems securely share imaging data with external collaborators, making it easier to seek expert input and support multidisciplinary consultation beyond a single organization,” said Jeremy Godart, PhD, a medical physicist at the Erasmus University Medical Center Cancer Institute in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
