SCAR launches program to pair vendors, providers

The Society for Computer Applications in Radiology has launched a vendor/provider partnership program that seeks to bring together SCAR corporate members with SCAR institutional members to cooperate on new product development. For example, the Reston, VA-based organization could establish a clinical advisory group that would provide continuing guidance to a company on issues such as strategic considerations, product development, and pricing.

A panel could also be put together to evaluate a new product or service prior to significant vendor R&D investment, or to review a new product launch strategy. Panel discussion of issues could be discussed anonymously, if the vendor desires.
