SAN DIEGO, Feb. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Intelligent Medical Objects, Inc., a developer of advanced information technology for clinical applications and ScheduleQuest, Inc., a leader in the scheduling field are announcing the release of a SQL-server version of the SQ Connect patient scheduling software the two companies have produced in collaboration with each other, as an alternative to the ORACLE version announced earlier.

SQ Connect is a comprehensive, patented system that provides HIPAA compliant browser based access to scheduling information and facilitates the complex operation of scheduling patients, equipment and resources among hospitals, outpatient facilities and physicians' offices. It requires only an Internet browser for access, and offers sub-second response times while managing complex patient scheduling tasks.

ScheduleQuest now has multiple, live ASP customers, in addition to its first delivery of a customer hosted multi-facility client, Navix Imaging, Coral Spring, FL. With a five-site outpatient network, Navix was an early user of the MS-SQL version. The CIO of Navix describes the solution: "ScheduleQuest fully automates the scheduling process. We are moving from an internal phone-based scheduling work flow to a fully automated, on-line system where scheduling becomes transparent to the facility and resources are booked as needed by the referring community. The system now automatically controls all entry of appointments from outside referring physicians and clinics to meet our requirements."

"We are proud of our partnership with ScheduleQuest and the availability of this product as an ASP solution, on Oracle as well as MS-SQL. This application has been developed to be scalable, secure and easily adapted to a private label that can support multiple languages in both U.S. and international markets," said Frank Naeymi-Rad, CEO of Intelligent Medical Object.

SQ Connect will be shown on February 10-13, 2003, at the Intelligent Medical Objects booth no. 1938 at the annual HIMSS conference in San Diego.
