Siemens Imaging Technology has formed a U.S. sales force to handle OEM sales for its flat-panel and high-resolution monochrome and color displays for the PACS and medical markets. Its current distributor, Elmsford, NY-based AFP Imaging, will continue to sell Siemens monitors to end users, smaller systems integrators, and existing accounts, according to Siemens. Display veterans Ann Woodley and George Scott will head up the sales office, which will be located in Denver.
