Digital radiography developer Swissray International has received an official contract award from the Department of Veterans Affairs. With the award, Swissray can now actively pursue sales for its AddOn-Multi-System to VA hospitals, according to New York City-based Swissray. The company values the first year of the contract at $400,000. The VA can extend the contract until March 31, 2001.

The company's Swissray Information Solutions division is also contributing to the company's revenues. The group has provided connectivity products to Dutchess Radiology Associates in Poughkeepsie, NY, and has also provided benchmarking consulting services for an informatics expansion by the DAL Group in Dallas, TX. The two contracts have generated $400,000 in revenue, according to Swissray.
