A new cost-effective real-time 3D solution, the AquariusBLUE workstation, has entered the marketplace. The system is available through its developer, TeraRecon, as the latest addition to the firm's product family. AquariusBLUE offers advanced 2D review and 3D and 4D postprocessing of MR and CT data. The workstation can also handle digital radiography and x-ray angiography.

The Aquarius workstation is the flagship of TeraRecon, based in San Mateo, CA. AquariusBLUE is aimed at the cost-sensitive segment within radiology. Both are powered by the company's real-time 3D volume-rendering VolumePro 1000 hardware.
