TomoTherapy hits the road
TomoTherapy has housed its TomoTherapy radiation therapy system in a custom-designed movable coach that replicates a conventional treatment vault. Artesian Cancer Center of Muskogee in Oklahoma will be the first to use the TomoMobile. The integrated mobile unit is designed to allow customers to begin treating patients during construction of a new facility prior to the installation of a fixed system, or alternatively as a permanent placement at centers that cannot expand their facilities.
