Trex finalizes Continental buyout

X-ray vendor Trex Medical of Danbury, CT, announced last week

that it has completed its acquisition of Continental X-Ray of

Broadview, IL (SCAN 4/24/96). Trex paid $19.3 million for Continental,

including the assumption of $6.2 million of Continental's debt.

The purchase price is higher than previously announced because

of an increase in working capital, Trex said. Continental had

sales of $25 million last year.
