The multimodality remote scanning modality uOmniscan and the recently FDA-cleared 3T uMR Ultra MRI system were unveiled at the Association for Medical Imaging Management (AHRA) conference in Las Vegas.
In an effort to expand the capabilities and access for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), United Imaging has launched the UOmniscan platform and the uMR Ultra 3T MRI system at the Association for Medical Imaging Management (AHRA) conference in Las Vegas.
Recently cleared by the Food and Drug Administration, the uMR Ultra system provides enhanced visualization of body movement within the MRI scan, according to United Imaging, the developer of uMR Ultra. The company adds that the uAIFI.LIVE feature on uMR Ultra enables “dynamic videography” in comparison to the static photography of other devices.
Offering multimodality and multisite capabilities, the newly launched uOmniscan software enables MRI technologists to perform and provide real-time guidance for MRI scans done at remote locations, according to United Imaging, the developer of the software. (Image courtesy of United Imaging.)
