Video Display taps marketing head

Monitor manufacturer Video Display has named Ron Gesell as marketing vice president for the Tucker, GA, company’s healthcare operations. Gesell previously served as product manager at healthcare information technology company Imnet Systems. He has also held positions with other medical imaging and healthcare vendors. Video Displays has been targeting the healthcare display market for expansion, with acquisitions of Aydin Displays, MII, and Infodex. In addition, the company’s Aydin Displays unit acquired Access Radiology’s MegaScan monitor line last month.
