The latest iteration of Vitrea 2, Vital Images' 3D visualization and analysis software for CT and MR, is out. The company has begun shipping the new software to initial customers and installed Vitrea 2 sites. Version 3.1 offers advances in CT colonography that promise to increase productivity and shorten reading times. The new version also introduces the Study Viewer, which supports the visualization of data while a patient is being scanned.
