Flat-panel display developer Barco has agreed to establish a joint-venture company in Japan with Toyo, a major Japanese distributor. The two firms will each own 50% of the newly formed company, which will be called Barco-Toyo Medical Systems Japan. Barco specializes in providing high-performance medical displays. Toyo serves as the exclusive Japanese representative for more than 100 overseas manufacturers, including Barco.
