Rubicor Medical of Redwood City, CA, announced the release of its EnCapsule family of breast biopsy devices May 14 at the American Society of Breast Surgeons annual meeting in Atlanta. The EnCapsule Xtra and the EnCapsule Precise yield tissue samples similar to those obtained during surgical biopsy, according to the company. Both are suitable for either stereotactic or ultrasound-guided biopsy procedures.
