Diagnostic Imaging, a subsidiary of PSS World Medical of Jacksonville, FL, has acquired Phoenix Radiology of Van Nuys, CA, and Southeast Imaging Systems of Apopka, FL, adding annualized revenues of $28 million to its coffers. Phoenix and Southeast Imaging both specialize in mid- to high-end imaging equipment and service; Phoenix covers metro Los Angeles, while Southeast Imaging covers Florida, Georgia, Alabama, the Carolinas, and Virginia. The purchases will be accounted for as cash transactions; other terms were not disclosed.
