The delivery of an Airis II to HealthSouth this month marked Hitachi’s 1000th MR scanner shipped to a site in the U.S. The Airis was installed at a new MRI center in Gadsden, AL. More than 98% of the 1000 Hitachi MR scanners are still in use.

The delivery of an Airis II to HealthSouth this month marked Hitachi’s 1000th MR scanner shipped to a site in the U.S. The Airis was installed at a new MRI center in Gadsden, AL. More than 98% of the 1000 Hitachi MR scanners are still in use. Hitachi has more than 2300 systems installed worldwide. Its products include Airis and Airis II open lower field MRI systems, and the higher field Altaire open scanner.
