Adding to its investment in positron imaging, Integral Nuclear Associates has purchased the assets of Nuclear Imaging Systems and Cardiovascular Concepts. These assets include 14 fixed-site nuclear cardiology imaging centers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. The sellers had filed for bankruptcy under chapter 11 in August 2000. INA, which owns Integral PET, intends to incorporate its newly acquired sites into the nuclear cardiology business operated by the Integral group of companies. The centers provide a comprehensive range of nuclear cardiology services, including cardiac stress tests, SPECT, perfusion, and wall motion studies.
