Swedish PACS supplier Sectra-Imtec has received a $2 million PACS order from the county of Gävleborg in Sweden. Sectra’s PACS architecture will be used to create a virtual radiology department for the county’s three hospitals and three satellite clinics, according to the Linkoping-based firm. A centralized, long-term 20-terabyte archive will be used for on-line capacity and for automatic backup, according to Sectra.
