Hewlett-Packard Medical Products Group of Andover, MA, announced this month that it has appointed Greg Petras general manager of the company's Imaging Systems division. Petras is responsible for the R&D and global marketing of HP's ultrasound imaging systems products, including the Sonos and ImagePoint scanners. Petras joined HP's Power Products division in 1977, becoming general manager in 1994. He replaces Paul Magnin, who has joined optical imaging firm Coherent Diagnostic Technology (SCAN 11/11/98).
