Siemens Medical Systems has added critical-care equipment support to its multivendor service program, which covers medical imaging equipment. The Iselin, NJ-based vendor has contracted with critical-care equipment provider Mediq/PRN Life Support, whose biomedical services division will now provide full-coverage service support of critical-care equipment. Mediq/PRN has a nationwide team of 180 technicians that support the Pennsauken, NJ-based firm's equipment fleet. It also maintains a multimillion-dollar parts inventory, according to Mediq/PRN.
