Boulder, CO-based Image Guided Technologies has hired former TomTec executive Mark Low to be vice president of sales and marketing. Low formerly served as vice president of marketing for TomTec Imaging Systems, also of Boulder, which closed its doors on June 1 (SCAN 6/11/97). Image Guided Technologies develops products for real-time, free-hand localization of points in 3-D space. In medical applications, the company's FlashPoint product determines the position of specifically designed surgical instruments relative to a patient's anatomy and CT or MR images during image-guided procedures, according to the firm.
