Low formerly served as vice president of marketing for TomTec Imaging Systems, also of Boulder, which closed its doors on June 1 (SCAN 6/11/97). Image Guided Technologies develops products for real-time, free-hand localization of points in 3-D space. In medical applications, the company's FlashPoint product determines the position of specifically designed surgical instruments relative to a patient's anatomy and CT or MR images during image-guided procedures, according to the firm.
