Shipping has begun of Web 1000 Version 3.1, an enhancement of Agfa’s enterprise Web server. The latest upgrade allows remote viewing of digital images via a LAN, a WAN, or the Internet. The new version offers the features and workflow efficiencies of Version 2.1 but adds more than 20 usability changes designed to improve ease of use and data security. The system works with the IMPAX R-4 information management system, which integrates with existing radiology systems.
