Agfa offers remote service for PACS and CR products

Agfa has announced the availability of Agfatek Link, a new service that allows customers to have their Agfa Impax PACS networks and ADC computed radiography products monitored remotely by Agfa personnel. Since monitoring is done proactively on a regular basis, potential problems could be identified and corrected without interrupting work flow and before those problems result in downtime, according to the Ridgefield Park, NJ-based vendor. While in many cases problems can be remotely corrected, Agfatek Link allows local field engineers to respond on-site when necessary, according to the company.
