Targeting community hospitals and imaging centers as a growth area, Agfa Healthcare introduced at SCAR a version of its IMPAX product configured to run on Dell servers and the Microsoft SQL database. The new product, designed to fit tight budgets, uses the same applications software and user interface as Agfa's larger, full-featured enterprise IMPAX offerings, according to the company. Turnkey packages, dubbed IMPAX Solution 350 and IMPAX Solution 400, are preconfigured and ready to install. Both feature IMPAX Image Management software, DVD storage jukebox, IMPAX DS3000 Diagnostic Workstations, IMPAX Web1000 software, and DryStar 3000 printers.
